Pumpkins..Butternut


Autumn colours on our plates.. are now with us and in season so let's take advantage of eating Pumpkin and butternut they are fantastic for supporting wellbeing.

They are rich in Beta carotene and they are a good source of Vitamin A.

Pumpkins help to support the immune systems as wells as helping maintain a healthy skin, teeth and bones.

The Pumpkin seeds are a good antioxidant.The seeds have iron, calcium and B2.

Adding a sprinkle of cinnamon to a  pumpkin dish will help our body to remove dangerous free radicals and it will also help feed our beneficial bacteria in our gut.

So let's enjoy them in soups, baked with lentil and chickpeas and in roasted veggies.
